Text Readability

Use clear and simple language.

Ensure font size is at least 12pt.

Use sans-serif fonts for clarity (e.g., Arial, Helvetica, Calibri, Lato, and Aptos)

Avoid using all caps for long text blocks.

Use meaningful link text (e.g., 'Read more about WCAG' instead of 'Click here').

Headings, Structure, and Format

Headings are present and used in a logical, hierarchical order (e.g., Heading 1 for the main title, Heading 2 for major sections, Heading 3 for subsections)

Lists (bulleted or numbered) formatted correctly using list tools, rather than manual symbols.

Use tables for data with clear columns/rows and set headers.

Color and Contrast

Color can't be the only means of conveying information.

Ensure sufficient contrast between text and background.

When in doubt black on white is a solid choice.
